Internationalization and Integration Actions for Permanent Teachers in the Four-Year Period 2021 – 2024

Internationalization and permanent faculty placement initiatives have been strategic priorities for strengthening the academic and scientific aspects of the program. The program has already implemented several initiatives to promote the active participation of faculty members in international research projects, global research networks, the organization of workshops and conferences, and has encouraged faculty and student mobility through partnerships with renowned universities abroad. These initiatives not only enrich the program’s curriculum, bringing new theoretical and methodological perspectives, but also increase the impact of the research developed. The initiatives already implemented demonstrate a commitment to excellence and competitiveness, consolidating the program as a reference in the area of ​​Automation and Systems Engineering. Detailed information on internationalization and faculty placement initiatives, specifying, among others, missions abroad, participation in the editorial boards of international journals and boards, lectures and courses taught, and awards received, are presented in this document.
