INCT CAPE
The National Institutes of Science and Technology (INCTs) are the result of a federal government program that has been promoting networked collaboration among the country’s leading research groups in strategic areas since the program’s creation in 2008. In 2022, the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) in Control and Automation of Energy Processes (CAPE) was established, with coordination and headquarters at UFSC, and with significant participation from faculty members of the PosAutomation program.
The INCT CAPE operates at the forefront of knowledge in the area of control and automation applied to energy processes, focusing on microgrids using renewable energy and green hydrogen, as well as processes for the production of oil and natural gas. For more information, click here.
